Just 600 metres from the beautiful old town of Piombino, rich in history and 800m from the commercial port is Lo Scoglietto. It is an elegant restaurant run by a family with long experience in the field. The restaurant has two air conditioned dining rooms with 40 seats each and is also suitable for banquets, dinners, weddings and other celebrations. At first glance it may seem a simple stopover, but inside hides a pleasant surprise: passion, courtesy, quality and professionalism. Lo Scoglietto stands out above all for its excellent cuisine, mainly fish (but also meat upon request). To underline the quality of the fish, in fact, the dishes are prepared exclusively with fresh locally caught fish and this is why the dishes vary each day according to the catch.
Here you can enjoy regional cuisine with a touch of creativity: unique dishes like Caciucco, a flavoursome and fragrant soup appreciated by lovers of fish, or the delicious Spaghetti alla Riviera Etrusca (with lobster, prawn …), Catalana (boiled crustaceans) and our delicious pie with zucchini flowers stuffed with prawn
All dishes are tasty and require a wine that knows how to stand up to them. You will not have problems finding the right wine as Lo Scoglietto has a rich wine cellar (480 national and international labels). Lo Scoglietto offers good value for money with a 30 euro tasting menu. Working lunch is just 15 euro.
