La Lanterna di Ardiccioni offers its customers naturally risen pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Managed by the Ardiccioni family since 1959, La Lanterna di Ardiccioni was the first pizzeria in the Maremma. Even today, its pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven according to tradition are the most sought after and famous in the area. The restaurant dishes, both meat and fish, are based on typical and genuine ingredients and are excellent value for money (it’s hard to spend more than €20 for dinner). In a familiar and traditional environment, you can taste local dishes such as the famous Spaghetti al Cartoccio that, in 1974, won the ‘Il Gazzettino’ award. Another feature of the restaurant is its cool veranda, where you can eat in summer. The restaurant is open for lunch.
