The restaurant was opened by Franco long ago in July 1971, and thanks to our parents, Franco and Gioiella, (who then called it ristorante girarrosto da Franco) it received immediate kudos for the professional qualifications they had honed over a lifetime in this industry. So much so that in December of the same year, they were the winners of the silver plate, a culinary competition organized by Castagneto Carducci for all restaurateurs. Since 1987, they have handed the restaurant over to us, sons Massimo and Giuseppe and our wives, Monica and Roberta. During our journey, we wanted to include pizza to the menu, thus arriving at the name Ristorante Pizza In da Franco. The restaurant has been completely renovated and refurbished both internally and externally, and has a large car park for customers. Inside the decor is warm and refined. The two large rooms are ideal for banquets and ceremonies. In the summer time, we open the outdoor room, surrounded by greenery in a cool veranda. Our kitchen has a marked tendency for fish, but also select meat, strictly cooked over charcoal coals, and every night ‘Pizza in’ with a large buffet of all you can eat starters. Our philosophy has always been quality products and the freshness of the raw material.
