Founded in 1958 as a shack on the beach, it then evolved in 1963 and became the famous Rotonda sul mare, a Jukebox … From then, it became a small restaurant, then a disco, a bar pizzeria, then a restaurant-nightclub-pizzeria. In 1992, it was transformed into today’s restaurant: elegant without exaggeration, wooden ship’s deck floorboards, Italian crystal glasses, a beautiful and always sober touch, good China porcelain plates, Sambonet cutlery and silverware. The cuisine is based mainly on local fish and vegetable produce. The owner of the restaurant, Attilio Adriani, ran things from 1985 until 2006 in the company, since 2007, of his sons Alberto and Tommaso. Born in 1960, Attilio worked before 1985 in the best hotels in Sestriere and Elba. In 1992, he became Sommelier Prof.Ais and has always been passionate about the world of restaurants, offering an engaged and thoughtful wine list. The menu changes at least four times a year according to the availability of particular fish, but also the vegetables that we grow in our own vegetable garden.
