restaurant, which is well known, appreciated and patronised by experts and lovers of old-style cooking, good tastes and authentic flavours.
A large fireplace, always lit in winter, warms
the atmosphere. Mrs Roberta has, over the years, created a repertoire of unique recipes, rediscovering forgotten fruits and herbs from centuries passed, and presenting guests with tasty medieval dishes. And yet, the mushrooms, truffles and pork that form the basis of the dishes that Roberta and Ercole Lega offer guests with passion and professionalism are gathered in the local woods.
The à la carte or tasting menu are always
complimented by an extensive selection of wines from the best local wineries.
The Pantry: bring home the flavours
Before leaving, visit the Dispensa della Locanda, a gourmet shop adjoining the hotel, where you can buy all local products, from chestnut honey to liqueurs, berries and the fantastic ‘Porcaro Medievale’ line of cold cuts made at the inn.
