KOME is in the heart of Florence and has three distinct areas: Kaiten Sushi, Barbeque Restaurant and Gallery Izakaya.
The first area, Kaiten Sushi, serves sushi dishes on a conveyor belt which runs around the counter. Each dish in this area has a different colour and each colour represents a different price. Creative and exotic dishes, prepared right before customers by Japanese chefs.
Upstairs, which is more elegant and plain, customers can enjoy – for the first time in Italy – food grilled directly on the table, otherwise known as Yakiniku. This traditional way of cooking uses a selection of cuts of meat and fish which are first marinated in special sauces. Customers can order fish, meat or vegetables from the daily menu and then cook it themselves on their own personal barbeque.
The décor downstairs is more classic and includes a vaulted ceiling. This area is home to Kome Izakaya, a private dining area with a wine/saké bar in the corner, perfect for pre- or post-dinner drinks, This versatile space is ideal for events, meetings and presentations. It is also the only area where smoking is allowed.
