The seventeenth-century manor house was part of Villa Colle Alberto, which the Bardi Vernio Counts would retreat to before embarking on the long journey to their Logomano properties.
Subsequently, the estate passed to the Florentine Guicciardini family and in the early twentieth century was bought by the Rospigliosi di Pistoia.
The restaurant preserves its ancient atmosphere with its warm and intimate dining rooms, improved in winter by the heat of the fireplace. Outside you will find a picturesque view surrounded by olive groves, gardens and a swimming pool in addition to the large terrace, which is the restaurant’s outdoor dining room in summer.
The name ‘I Colli’ comes from the area’s nickname and the view that always encompasses the valley framed by the neighboring hills.
The kitchen is in harmony with the environment, seeking to enhance the ingredients and traditions with the imagination and passion of the Chefs, who seek the same refinement and quality in every dish as they do in every single product.
