The property covers 642 acres of cultivations, forests and olive groves along the Ombrone river. Olio Nece is an extra virgin olive oil “Terre di Siena” P.D.O. which is made from the cold pressing of olives rigorously from our farm. The P.D.O. certification secures that cultivars have been selected to represent the finest Tuscannes . In order to minimize acidity and ensure a high content in polyphenols, olives are pressed within 24 hours from harvest, which is anticipated to early October.
