Just talking about healthy food is never enough, especially during the Year of Italian Food. It’s for this reason that Eubiochef was launched, a contest that aims to encourage people to adopt healthy lifestyles when it comes to food. To eat well is the first form of prevention for living a healthy life and feeling your best. The contest was promoted by Fondazione ANT and Vetrina Toscana: chefs, industry experts, food bloggers and enthusiasts can send in their “Eubiotic” recipes from June 20 to September 14.
To participate in Eubiochef, send your recipe via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, using the form that can be downloaded from www.ant.it/toscana, preferably with a photo of the dish and an accurate description of what makes the recipe healthy. The submitted recipes will be promoted on Vetrina Toscana’s social media channels and website.
The 10 best recipes will be selected by a scientific and technical committee, and the candidates will be called to work alongside chefs who will prepare their dishes in a cooking show during the contest’s semi-finals, which will be held in Marina di Massa on October 6. The top three eubiotic recipes will be awarded during the event.
The public will be able to taste the dishes during the live event and cast their vote. To participate in the evening, guests will need to offer a contribution, which will be donated to ANT for supporting medical and psychological assistance to cancer patients.
The contest’s finale will take place during a gala dinner in November on the Tuscan coast. The winner will cook the best eubiotic recipe during a live TV broadcast and their dish will become part of the menu at a participating restaurant.
