BuyWine Toscana doesn’t stop. Preparations are underway for the 2021 edition of the leading event in Italy among the B2B events dedicated to wine.

In consideration of the current scenario, BuyWine 2021 will take place between May and June 2021 with a completely redesigned format and in digital mode – BuyWine Toscana 2021 will be the First Big digital Wine B2B.

From midnight today, until 1 pm on Wednesday March 3 2021, registrations will open and are exclusively online.

Individual or associated companies that produce and market DOCG, DOC, IGT wines from Tuscany (excluding companies that only carry out the bottling and / or marketing phases) can apply for participation on the website https: //regionetoscana.crmcorporate.it/buywine2021, in the “Events” section, following having registered on the portal itself.

How the BuyWine 2021 activities will take place

The event, organized as always by the Tuscan Regional Council and PromoFirenze, includes B2B meetings that will all be online, held on a dedicated IT platform.

Although this is the same unified event, the B2B will be divided into three areas with different dates, each dedicated to a different market:

Up to a maximum of 150 Tuscan companies will be admitted to the B2B overall, divided between the 3 areas. The slots are roughly distributed as 50 places for each of the three areas of Europe, Asia & Oceania and America.

About 120 foreign buyers will be invited, including importers, distributors, agents, GDO, Horeca, and those operating in the target markets.

Each company will have the opportunity to hold B2B meetings that will take place on the customizable digital platform dedicated to the event. Meetings with buyers from a single geographical area are to be chosen in advance during the application phase.

For the participants in BuyWine Toscana 2021, there is also the possibility of participating in the preparatory seminar and in this year’s international competition “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles” scheduled in Luxembourg from May 21-23, 2021

It will be possible to conduct tastings by sending wine samples to buyers. Each seller admitted to the B2B session must provide a sample of their wines to be sent to the buyers with whom they will have an appointment on the agenda. The samples may contain up to a maximum of 4 references that will be sent to the buyers in the form of “Vinotte”. Each buyer will receive the same sample, it will not be possible to send different labels to different recipients. The collection of the bottles of wine at the company, the repackaging and sending to the buyers will be entirely at the expense of the project.

Finally, it will be possible to participate in the preparatory seminar that will take place on Monday March 29 at 3 pm.

The seminar aims to illustrate the specific characteristics of the 2021 event format and the recommended activities, before, during and after the meetings, to try to get the best results from the meetings, with the aim of encouraging the establishment of commercial relationships once the event is over. This seminar will last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

The operator, at his own expense, will be able to participate in the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, scheduled from May 21-23, 2021 in Luxembourg.
