Tuesday 10 May 2022

BuyFood Toscana 2022 is back on October 11 and 12, and companies wishing to participate can register from May 9 to 29. The fourth edition will be held in Florence, continuing the practice of business-to-business meetings involving 60 companies, which will present products made exclusively in Tuscany, and international and national buyers selected from target markets of known and acknowledged value.

The event is structured exclusively around the B2B model, in order to maximise the benefits of meetings between companies and buyers. These appointments will be scheduled on the basis of the highest preference expressed by the parties in advance, on a dedicated digital platform, the use of which will be followed by an information seminar reserved for eligible companies in the days preceding the B2B event.

With the exception of wine, beer and spirits, only agri-food products included in the following quality systems are eligible for admission: DOP/IGP, Agriqualità, Organic, products labelled “Prodotto di Montagna” (mountain product), and those included in the list of traditional Tuscan agri-food products (PAT).

Representing Tuscany’s food culture,” said Stefania Saccardi, vice-president and councillor for agriculture and food, “is the Region’s intent, promoting the event with the Florence Chamber of Commerce organised by Fondazione Sistema Toscana and PromoFirenze. As always, we want to create an exclusive event for companies and their products to encourage the development of commercial channels appropriate to our typical productions and support companies in improving their positioning on national and foreign markets.”

BuyFood Toscana 2022 foresees the organisation of associated communication and information events to expand the knowledge of typical products and territories of origin as well as its most representative protagonists. These initiatives are realised in collaboration with Fondazione Sistema Toscana and will be held throughout the B2B event.
