Among Villages and Wineries “Where Tradition Meets Taste” is back. In the eight appointments starting on October 5, restaurants and wineries will trace a path that will lead us to discover traditions, taste, and history. For no less than eight Thursdays, until November 23, in this autumn of the year 2023, we will again be able to enjoy the appointments at dinner time, where Siena’s DOC and DOCG wines are paired with the flavours of the culinary tradition of Siena to enjoy the history of the territory.

The participating restaurants will feature a traditional Tuscan dish on the menu, which will be paired with local wines. And also in this 4th edition, the wine companies, adding to the menu, will offer visitors of the Among Villages and Wineries calendar of events the opportunity to participate in tasting experiences or take tours of their estates.
“Among Villages and Wineries – Where Tradition Meets Taste, traces the territories of Siena’s main DOC and DOCG wine districts. The history continues, and we have now arrived here. Where new flavours are discovered in order to continue the sensorial narration of the story of our territory” – remarks Elena Lapadula, the Director of Cat Confcommercio Siena – “Our restaurants are the places where the values of the territory come together to create an experience for the palate, creating an additional opportunity to discover or rediscover the many villages hosting the restaurants”.
This year, the project confirms significant collaborations. “Among Villages and Wineries” is an event included in the regional programme organised by Vetrina Toscana, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Arezzo Siena, with the collaboration of Fisar Val di Chiana and Val D’Elsa, the Ricasoli and Pellegrino Artusi high schools, and Ais Siena and Toscana. “This year we welcome a great new addition to their ranks,” – Ms. Lapadula points out – “we have the collaboration of Coripanf, the Committees for the promotion of the IGP Ricciarelli of Siena and the IGP Panforte of Siena, which will play a starring role throughout the programme. I would really like to thank everyone for their contributions to the development of this genuine festival of taste that embraces a special time of year: autumn.”
